Because: An e-dartboard with 3 holes offers more space in the otherwise small double and triple fields than is usually the case. On the 3 hole dartboard these fields have three rows of holes , while on the version with 2 holes there are only two rows.
In plain language this means: With an electronic 3 hole dartboard it is much easier to hit the double and triple fields . So far so good. Nevertheless, many players prefer the 2 hole E dartboard.

What are the biggest differences between a 3 hole and a 2 hole dartboard?
The fundamental main difference was already mentioned in the above chapter. However, there are other differences that you should be aware of. We ourselves prefer the 2 hole dartboard because, as already mentioned, it is also used in official tournaments .
This means you have an electric dartboard that you can train on at home to prepare you perfectly for tournaments.
The 3-hole dartboard, on the other hand, is intended more for leisure activities . You often see such electronic dartboards hanging at home . Because here it is certainly the more sensible solution for someone who occasionally throws a few darts. Because it is much easier to hit the desired fields.
Which players should prefer which variant?

We're talking about the so-called bullshooter . Ultimately, Bullshooter Dart has relatively little to do with serious competition . The crux of the matter is that these so-called bullshooters are actually also referred to as 5-hole dartboards .
In plain language this means: The triple and double fields ultimately have 5 rows of holes and are therefore twice as large as a normal tournament board.
Advantages of the Bullshooter dart machine
However, there is a small advantage to this 5 hole E dartboard. And that's because these electronic dartboards offer the opportunity to play against other players online .
No question, this also works with vending machines. However, these are often significantly more expensive than the so-called bullshooter board. In this case we just remember the legendary match between Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld .
The players competed against each other online on the Bullshooter during the Corona period. The same applies here: This board makes little sense for players who like to take part in tournaments.
